Christian doctrine is offensive to Muslims, the Archbishop of Canterbury said yesterday. But it risked fresh controversy for the Archbishop in the wake of his pronouncement earlier this year that a place should be found for Islamic sharia law in the British legal system.

Dr Williams is also facing immense pressures from inside his own Church of England and Anglican Communion. BNP Chairman Nick Griffin along with Rod Gordon filmed this short news report today. Nick Griffin says it is time for all Christians to say enough is enough.

In a sensational result early Friday, The British National Party's Tim Rait beat Labour into 5th place by taking 4th place. The Tories predictably won the seat however, although they increased their majority as a result, and the Lib Dems came a good second, the British National Party's result was the talk of the night, with the Greens, who polled a couple of dozen more votes than the BNP, got 3rd place. This result, after just 3 weeks work and starting from scratch, means nowhere is safe for Labour.
