The big St George's Day Parade, held annually in West Bromwich, was this years' setting for BNPtv coverage. Simon Darby spoke to the camera, whilst being admired by a passing young lady, about the spirit of the event and how important it is for everyone to be aware of our heritage. Bands, large crowds and finally an appearance by the Royal British Legion in the park made a great event, of which even the weather couldn't dampen everyone's spirits. The event finished with the Last Post and Reveille, and a large jamboree with all sorts of attractions rounded off the day later on.
