In spite of the government’s claims to be dealing with youth violent crime, yet another example of “soft” justice. A BNP member was leafleting in April when a 16-year-old black youth beat him with a lump of wood in an unprovoked attack. During the hearing, the court was made aware that the victim was a BNP member, as if this made any difference. Witnesses insisted that it was a crime of violence that was being judged, and not anyone’s political beliefs. How much longer can the CPS hide the fact that their decisions are often influenced by ethnicity, and that justice is not being applied impartially?
